Tarot readings can’t predict the future, because the future doesn’t exist yet.
But Tarot readings can analyze the status quo, and the status quo is the seed of the future.
For instance, a psychological Tarot reading can identify that the querent is an anxious person. And anxiety attracts distressing situations. If the Tarot reader told the querent that she would get into scary situations, the Tarot reader is likely correct, but she didn’t really predict the future.
We also need to consider that history rhymes. History moves in circles (the Wheel of Fortune), and principal events recur, like economic crises. But we never know what the recurrence will look like.
For instance, an experienced farmer can predict a storm. But he can only say that a storm will come, not when or how strong it will be.
Have you heard of karmic seeds? We carry karmic seeds from past incarnations. Karmic seeds may hatch or not, depending on circumstances. A Tarot reader, if psychic, may be able to read karmic seeds that are about to hatch. But then again, she didn’t predict the future, but the seed of the future, which is in the present.
Last but not least, there is fate and destiny.
When a soul incarnates, it enters a so-called soul contract, which governs destiny and fate. This contract stipulates key experiences, like being born into a particular family, key ordeals, key relationships, career, and moments of grace.
Soul contract provisions work like psychic magnets, which attract key experiences and take us to the right place at the right time. Or wrong place at the wrong time.
Soul contract provisions are engraved in the body-mind-soul vehicle. Psychics may be able to sense these provisions, in particular, those that are imminent.
We can feel our souls contract provisions too. For instance, when we meet a soul mate, we may get a strong sense of fate. Or we may feel that we know this person on a deeper level, although we meet him or her for the first time.
